Amazed at the new construction going on!

Took a ride down memory lane and was thrilled to see the old and the new. Very nice gardens near J street.

Not sure why CSUS is on TA's list, it's not really a tourist destination. CSUS is an average state university and worth a visit if you or a relative is thinking of attending. Otheerwise, no special attractions or reasons for a tourist visit. If going during the school yeare, parking will be a big problem both in terms of scarcity... More

California State University, Sacramento is one university that will always remain in my memory. Before it became a university, it was just a college called Sacramento State College. My husband and I met at this university (then a college) in 1968. There were international students on campus who came from a war torn Vietnam. If one wants to visit a... More

I'm slightly biased about this campus, however, I would argue that the proximity to the rive is the best thing going. Opportunities for recreation are in abundance on this campus and surrounding areas. Students enrolled prior to 2010 have full access to "The Well," a fitness and wellness facility offering all kinds of activities as well as on campus medical,... More

I graduated from here in early 1974. I live about five miles away and ride my bike through the campus on a regular basis. Stay away Monday the Friday because of so many students. Weekends are best and easier to ride without stopping. So many new buildings on the campus. The Wellness Center is very nice and offers a wide... More

My son is interested in attending the university next year. We scheduled a campus tour online. The young man that gave the tour was very informative & very easy going. We were impressed not only with the campus, but with the students as well.

Dorm closure & graduation are at the SAME TIME in the afternoon on same day! LUNACY!!! NO available parking (but lots of parking tix issued!) Very poor planning even though parents complain every year. Still not safe for women to walk on campus alone at night or even in the parking structures (despite assurances that police will patrol not ticket-writing... More
