V. Sattui Winery is a family-owned property located in the heart of Napa Valley, which was founded in 1885 and makes more than 60 different wines with dozens of 90+ point rated wines among its current vintages. It is a stunning, must-see Napa Valley destination for picnics, weddings and events, offering an impressively robust Cheese Shop with more than 200 selections, an excellent Deli directed by Chef Gerardo Sainato, and a Salumeria directed by Stefano Masanti. The sprawling estate includes two-dozen picnic tables nestled beneath ancient Valley Oak trees and tri-level terraces that overlook beautifully manicured gardens and vineyards.

At $5 for a taste of six wines, plus a full deli of cheese, meats, sandwiches, salads etc, this is a great place to get a taste and a bite to eat before the rest of Napa. We bought a hunk of Gouda plus lunch...More

I am sad to write this review. We have been Cellar Club members for years at V. Sattui. We were so happy when they achieved commercial and critical success. However, I think they have just gotten too big for us. Usually, when we went to...More

To start, beautiful grounds with huge outdoor area to enjoy food, wine, or just plain relaxing. Have never had their wines as they don't sell it in NY, but the wines were great and our server was generous with her pours.

I will never return to V. Sattui. The "gentleman" serving the wine was incredibly rude and patronizing. I don't claim to be a wine expert, but my friend worked in the wine industry in both Washington and Napa Valley all her life. My friend was...More

I went to Napa this past weekend and my experience was almost ruined by a horrible tasting experience at V Sattui. The server for our $5 wine tasting was unbelievably rude. He could tell that we were not big wine drinkers and treated us accordingly....More

I have been visiting V. Sattui winery for years and have always highly referred this winery to friends and other visitors because they have good wine, a great picnic area and the tastings used to be complimentary. We always end up spending $100 or more...More

Nothing else like it in the Napa Valley! Good wine, deli, picnic area, a little store catering to the wine crowd, it's all here. On my first trip through the valley, Sattui Winery caught my attention. Plenty of parking space and the picnic area pulled...More

My answer might sound really vague (and you’re probably already there) but my guide - which I don’t remember the name now - was italian. Italian looking and with accent also.
