Guests who visit Spring Mountain Vineyard will experience its artisan wines...

Guests who visit Spring Mountain Vineyard will experience its artisan wines in settings of breathtaking beauty that reflect the history and ambience of a vineyard estate established in the 1880s. Its hillside terraces, historic caves and heirloom gardens still evoke an era when daily life was slow and tied to the land. SMV is family-owned, sustainably farmed and exclusively producing wines from its own vineyards on Spring Mountain in Napa Valley. Hallmarks of its wines are concentrated color and flavor, distinctive varietal intensity, supple tannins, bright acidity and longevity. Its signature wine is Elivette, a Bordeaux-style wine carefully blended for structure, elegance and aging potential. Four tastings are offered, each with different selections of wines, to give guests the option to choose the experience which best suits their interests. • the Tasting Only, a standing tasting featuring current releases (45- 60 minutes)• the Estate Tasting, a seated experience featuring current releases and one library/rare wine selection of Elivette, our signature Bordeaux-style blend (90 minutes)• the Library Vertical Tasting, a seated tasting featuring a vertical selection of Cabernet (90 minutes)• the Explore Elivette Tasting, our most exclusive tasting, featuring five vintages of Elivette (90 minutes)Tastings other than the Tasting Only are held in our historic wine caves, in garden settings or in the historic chandeliered Villa Miravalle (subject to availability) and include an informative, guided walk around the estate. Visits are by advance reservation only. Please also note that due to legal restrictions and for the safety and enjoyment of all guests, we request that all members of the party be at least 21 and we are not accompanied by pets.

We came to Spring Mountain on a recommendation from others and we are so glad we did! The property is one of the most beautiful in Napa Valley and the wines were delicious. Jessica (young woman from P.R.) was so welcoming and sweet. She answered all of our questions and peppered the tasting with interesting stories and history about the... More

Absolutely perfect. The estate tasting is such a treat. You get to sit down in this beautiful old living room of this house (sipping on Sauvignon Blanc on your walk back to the house) and sample 4 of their amazingly well balanced and elegant cabs and Elivette blends. And they open up great stuff! When we went in 2014, they... More

Very nice wine experience, very personal, Mr Ceja (wine educator) spend all the time with us, talking about their wines, very good Cabernets. The property by itself it's a treat to see. The buildings gorgeous inside and out, antique wood floors, stone glass windows, beautiful gardens.

This was absolutely the highlight of the weekend. Jessica and all the staff at Spring Mountain Winery greatly exceeded our expectations. I had worked with Stan at Knight Tours to book a private cave tour where I planned to propose to my girlfriend. Jessica buttered us up with some amazing wine wile sharing the amazing history of the property. We... More

Spring Mountain exceeded our expectations. Our host was an affable local with lots of info and good tips. Wines were excellent, we tasted a variety of blends and years, and we purchased an impressive 2001. If you book a tour, make sure you will be able to see the historic mansion. It is a real slice of the past, but... More

This wine is one of my all time favorites. The Savigon Blanc and Cabs are truly special. Our host was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The grounds are beautiful and we were encouraged to wander about. This was our absolute favorite Napa Valley experience.

Maybe I picked to wrong tour to buy - got there a few minutes early and was met by a very nice young lady with a glass of wine for me, saying that the tour will begin shortly. Sat down in the shade and drank the wine, 20 minutes after it was supposed to start, they came and got us.... More

Spent the afternoon on the winery with our family. The hospitality showed by the staff was nothing short of amazing. Wine was very nice & all varietals came with a lengthy and thorough explanation of the unique features of each. Can't recommend this place enough.

Wines were typical big mountain cabs- certainly good wines but a lot of similiar ones in area. Staff was much less personable than most wineries- other than person who did the tour/tastings the other staff membets walked by me several times like I wasn't even there- even the woman who is in charge. They catered way too much to those... More
