On our vacation in wine country we were able to do Trinchero's "oak barrel" experience. This was a neat way to both taste the wine and learn more about some of the techniques used to influence the wines taste. In this tasting, we went to the cellar and all of the tastings were from different wine barrels. It was the... More

The Trinchero family deserve to be recognized as important pioneers of the Napa Valley Wine Industry. A tour here reveals their struggles and successes. Their wines are well crafted and delicious, vineyard designated Cabernet, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and beyond. Be sure to include their cheese and charcuterie plate for a great experience.

To be completely honest, we may have gotten a VIP tour not available to everyone. A friend of mine works here. The grounds are beautiful. We brought our dogs and even before my friend was present no one said anything to us. They are small dogs, however. There are lots of places to sit and enjoy the beauty while here. My... More

Great find during our Napa trip. The tasting room felt new and was tastefully modern. The Cabernets were fantastic and are limited in production. Will visit on our next trip.

The tasting room was very easy to navigate, and the wines are all very straight forward. I would love to go and taste more with more time, but I am happy with the results so far.

We took the "Taste of Terroir" tasting and were pleasantly surprised to be the only couple on the tour that day. The facility is fairly new and is extremely well appointed. Some of what we viewed was typical: oak barrels stacked, stainless steel vats, de-stemming machines and presses but all were spic and span. Beautiful views all around. The best... More

This was by far the best and most beautiful winery in Napa Valley. The wines here are probably the best that the Trinchero family makes. When you visit this place you get to experience the family history and their brand new tasting room. They also offer a culinary experience to go with the great wines. It is definitely a must... Simply stunning - architecture, decor and wine. A truly beautiful space to taste some very good wines. Staff very knowledgeable and very informative. We enjoyed four wines each plus two barrel wines and the cheese and charcuterie plates were very good. So peaceful and such an interesting family history. Highly recommended in a region where choice is abundant!
