Tres Sabores ("three tastes") was founded in 1999 by winemaker and owner, Julie Johnson, to explore the 'three savory flavors' in every glass of wine: the taste of the vine, the terroir, and the good company around the table. The property is filled with growing history as olives and vines were planted here over a century ago.

Today, the farm is a certified organic (CCOF) grower of Cabernet, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Petit Verdot, pomegranates, Meyer lemons, and Olives. We also raise Guinea fowl and sheep who serve not only as lawn mowers and the mobile fertilization team for the ranch but also 'go to market' and are served in some of the finest farm to table restaurants in the Bay Area.

We became wine club members at Tres Sabores five years ago when we were last in Napa. Their wine is so smooth and delicious. The Por que no? is a favorite by far and runs $30 a bottle! It could easily sell for twice that price! The area is quaint and personal. We brought our lunch and enjoyed it under... More

This vineyard/winery is approx 1 mile off of Rt 29 but is well worth finding. The experience and atmosphere is quiet different that that of the big wine joints - but I found it the most relaxing and enjoyable of all of the tasting experiences. Unless a member of their wine club reservations are a must. The indoor tasting area... More

While reading the reviews of boutique wineries in Napa, we read that the Tres Sabores winery had resident Goldens! I was greated by three lovely Goldens as I arrived. Missing my Goldens at home, this was a lovely experience. And, by the way, the wine was terrific. We are awaiting our shipment at home! Don't miss this place.

Tres Sabores was a delight to visit. We were greeted by the sweetest brigade of golden retrievers once we arrived, followed shortly thereafter by Julie, the owner. She was overseeing production that day and wasn't hosting our tour but I appreciated her introduction and welcome. We chose Tres Sabores because it came highly recommended and we were planning our tastings... More

Tres Sabores was our first wine tour/tasting in Napa Valley and it was a great way to start the trip. The guide was very friendly and we were able to meet the owner Julie, who showed us around also. She was down to earth and you could tell she really loves what she does. We were able to see the... More

This is an organic winery that is more than just tasting. They provide and education on organic wine making an give you a tour of the vineyard and grounds. It is a very peaceful place and beautiful grounds. The wine is also very good. If you buys 6 bottles your tasting fee is waived.

Went to Tres Sabores with a group of 9 friends - called about a week in advance and made reservations for a 10:30 AM taste and tour. Super reasonably priced at $30 per person for a very generous wine tasting and tour. The winery itself is small, but the guide who brings you around is personal and fun. So much... More

My husband found this winery on Yelp and noted the five stars. We called at the last minute and they fit us into their 2 pm tour. What a delight and departure from the normal tastings/tours we've experienced this trip. We toured, tasted & talked in the vineyard, met the beautiful dogs and our guide, a master sommelier was extremely... More

We have brought our friends to Tres Sabores and and they have commented on how friendly Julie (the owner and winemaker) is and how she welcomes everyone to her "home". The winery is about a mile off of the main highway but worth the time to visit. Call first because they are small and have limited room and may be... More

We had the most wonderful tour/tasting of our trip here at Tres Sabores, led by Bryan. He was very knowledgeable and fun (not stuffy or snobby like some can be). He also did a great job interacting with our group of 8. The wine was good, the tour was also good - we walked around the beautiful property and saw... More
