Our vineyards in Oakville have been farmed by Rawson Kelham for the last thirty-five years. In 1998, Rawson and Susanna Kelham rebuilt the old Shadow Brook Winery on Zinfandel Lane in St. Helena. After three years, the ten-acre facility is now planted with seven acres of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and a new winery facility is being constructed. Hamilton and Ron Nicholsen, the winemakers, grew up in the Napa Valley and developed a passion for wine. They have been closely involved with several different wineries and made home wine for several years prior to developing their own label. After graduating from college, Ron in architecture and Hamilton in hotel restaurant management, they pursued their goal to build a family winery and produce fine wines.

This tour was booked by a friend who knew the owner so we may have been upscaled. However it seemed looking around the room that all present in the three table main room, intimate setting were having an equally good time. Great wines paired with a selection of cheeses, sliced meats, olives and fruits. By appointment. It stands above many... More

I am a member and have been coming here for years. The family always makes me feel welcome and I am greeted with hugs and made to feel at home whether it's just me or a large party on my 40th birthday (for example). I have actually spent hours here, and always feel welcome. Not only is their property beyond... More

Kelham Vineyards and Winery is an excellent adventure in wine tasting. Everything was perfect. The grounds are beautiful. Sue made us feel like family the moment we arrived. We joined the club and will visit this winery every visit to Napa The wines are excellent.

I go to Napa for long weekends several times each year and must have gone down Zinfandel Lane at least 100 times over the years. Yes I have seen the sign and paid no notice. I like to try new wineries and Royce-Ann at the Westin said "of course you have been to Kelham" Anyway she arranged the trip for... More

Beautiful setting that made you feel right at home. Susanna and her family were very hospitable and of course the wines were to die for. Our tasting included the charcuterie lunch platter, which I highly recommend. And one must visit her gallery of paintings and art works.

We visited Kelham in mid August for a private wine tasting and what eventually turned into a marriage proposal. The wine was fantastic, the setting unbelievable and the service and attention from Susanna and the family made this the right spot for our engagement. We are sure to be back and excited to begin receiving our wine club shipments! A... More

Outstanding wine, outstanding host, outstanding winemaker. This is a must if you are in Napa. We have the most pleasant and delicious experience of all the wineries here at Kelham.

Our guide suggested this spot as an opportunity for a mid day break in the winery tour so that we could eat lunch. Apparently most wineries and vineyards are not allowed to provide lunch or food but Kelham is allowed. We were provided a nice table in a room by ourselves overlooking the grounds. The owner Susannah would periodically stop... More

Of all the places we visited this was hands down the best experience. A beautiful setting in a huge pergola over looking the vineyard. The temp 103 degrees but you would never believe it was that hot nice breeze a very well kept garden softened the blow. The wines were awesome but pricy, do not let the price stop you... More

My wife and I recently booked a wine tasting and charcuterie at Kelham Winery on the recommendation of a friend. We were not disappointed! It's a very laid back, beautiful setting - if the weather permits you'll enjoy the experience under their well designed veranda. Hamilton and Ron are both very friendly and engaging, and extremely knowledgeable. In our case,... More
