Came here for a quick tasting with friends on a rainy day. Loved the old building fully restored built in 1912. The wines were not really my thing, but I did like one of the Merlots and the Viognier was really fruit forward with passion fruit! Pretty place, interesting wines. Right on 29 before you get to Calistoga. Just past... More

Visited recently, all wines were excellent. Grace was a great hostess and spokesperson for the winery

I've always loved Freemark Abbey wines but it had been years since my last visit. The winery recently underwent a remodel and the results are nothing short of spectacular. Beautiful stone and naturally finished wood with an openness that is both beautiful and welcoming. Photos on the walls convey some of the wineries historic past. The wines were equally impressive,... Our last stop of the day was here at Freemark. One couple in our party of seven were members, so they set us up in the club room for our tasting. The room was spacious, but we were the only ones there. The server was generous with her advice and happily helped us to compare a few of their vintages.... More

We stopped here as our 3rd and last winery of the day. Logan was our tasting guide - nice and easy going. He didn't push their club and was nice enough to offer another taste from one of the other menus. While I normally love their chardonnay, it tasted pretty much like the ones I buy at the store- Not... More

Me and my friends visited Freemark Abbey back in September. We had an appointment early in the day. Everything was already set up for our tasting. Logan was our wine tasting guide and he could not be more amazing. He was very informative, knowledgeable and also very nice. They had a great deal on shipping, so we bought a few... More

This was my first visit to Napa and what a wonderful experience at Freemark Abbey. We had a party of 6 and could not have had a better time...I think we were there for almost 2 hours! We received a tour of the newly renovated building and sat outside for our tasting. Our tasting guide was amazing - he made... More

This was part of a 5 Winery tour day for our family. Our tasting guide was Diane and she was fabulous at her job. We had a great tasting in the new large room and then toured the new area downstairs. We even met the winemaker who was having lunch on the patio. Beautiful scenery and tasty wines!

We only stopped here because we thought it was a historic abbey. We were disppointed. The wine was good, and the pourer...(I think Clint) was knowledgable and helpful.

The tasting room is pleasing to the eye - and a beautiful way to take in some fabulous Cabernet! The 2012 Napa Cab is a reasonably priced beauty, but the Rutherford Cab is the goods. Oooooh my that Cab is worth the trip. It is my new favorite! The people there are easygoing and helpful, the wines are terrific, and... More
