We were always told it is difficult to get reservations for wine tasting at Rombauer's. I was surprised to get in at the last minute. Our appointment was at 1030 am. The traffic to get there was horrendous due to a bike tour in the area. While stuck in traffic, I called to my inform them of our late arrival.... More

It's always nice to taste wine at this beautiful property. Our server was extremely well educated and knowledgeable, which enhances the experience so much. She proudly served us a remarkable selection of cabs, and a Chardonnay that we just had to add to our cellar. Do ask, when you're there, why there are copies of The Joy of Cooking on... More

Pretty place. You need an appointment. The tastes were very small. I thought 25 was expensive, but nearby they want $40 each. Darn!!!!

Have been a Chardonnay wine club member. Booked the wine cave tour and then discovered the weekend we were visiting, they had the spring release party. We were able to attend. Enjoyed the family atmosphere of this winery. Visited others that are commercial. You can really tell the difference. The employee team members all take pride in their wine and... More

So I have heard it a million times from friends, family, and every staff member at total wine, "there are better Chardonnays that are cheaper." We have tried several recommendations and some of them are even good, but none of them are Rombauer's chardonnay. We fell in love with this wine at a pairing event in Asheville, NC and have... More

We pack up in SF with Sourdough and goodies with the goal of having them sipping our favorite wine looking out over the valley. When we think wine and Napa, we think of time here.

A great winery to visit. Location is in a great region with a spectacular view. Definitely worth exploring. im not really a Zin drinker But Rombauer Zinfandels are exceptional and there are many. We loved this vineyard and can't wait to go back. Reservations are strongly recommended

I always loved their wine but after this last tasting I will never drink their wine again. Three of us were there tasting, my friend joined the wine club and my husband & I bought 2 bottles of wine and they still charged us a tasting fee. I think that is so wrong and I'm done.
