This older pier allows sweeping views of the coastline. Undergoing some repairs, but we were still allowed to walk to the end. Many strollers; some fishermen; swimmers near the shoreline; restaurants and a few souvenir shops. We went in the middle of the day, so...More

One of only a handful of piers in Orange County. It's definitely worth a visit. The are two restaurants at the land end of the pier.

In non summer months the pier is a great place to visit because of less traffic. I recommend taking visitors from out of town here because it is so serene and beautiful. This part of San Clemente truly defines the California coastal living vibe. It...More

The pier is quite picturesque, but due to current works going on, we were unable to go all the way along. We were here in the middle of the day but can just imagine how beautiful it would be at sunset.

Beautiful long pier in central San Clemente to observe the waves, the coast and locals catching fish or, in our case, a small sting ray

The law says that you can fish without a license but it must be catch and release, if you want to bring the fish home you need a license

I have to think really near. We had to cross the tracks in order to get on the pier and restaurant. We did not pay attention to the stop in that vicinity. Check the metro link on line for stops.
