My Husband and I frequently attend events here and always enjoy the experience. Events have a myriad of people to assist you and finding your seat is easy. Parking, either on the street or in a garage, is easy. The seats have good sight lines...More

We've been coming to the Center for the Performing Arts for over 24 years: First when it was known as San Jose Civic Light Opera; then American Musical Theater of SJ, now Broadway San Jose. The Center is close to several convenient public parking structures,...More

The not so good part --The building is dated and goes back to the 1960's. Each row is really long with no aisle seat in the middle. The good part: I saw several Broadway San Jose shows, not expecting much. I was really surprised -...More

We were here to see Anthony Bourdain in November and loved it! The place was packed but people were flowing pretty easily and there were ushers everywhere ready to answer any questions. We could easily see the stage and hear Anthony speak. We will be...More

We saw a terrific production of the Sound of Music. The seats are comfortable and by theater standards, "roomy". There are two sets of restrooms - one on the far left and one of the far right (both are on the second level). The staff...More

I've had a great time. The seats were great, just a bit tricky to get to. The rows are long and if you are in the middle it can be a trek. Overall it was great. The bathroom was clean as well.

We have visited the SJCPA several times for various performances and events. It is just ok. The parking is not convenient and the location is average. The facility could really use a facelift as it feels stuffy and a little old.

We've had the pleasure of seeing a number of performances at this wonderful venue. In downtown San Jose, with limited, metered on-street parking available, but a number of nearby and convenient (paid) parking lots and garages. The SJCPA obtains quality productions that don't disappoint and...More

We love the aisle seats due to the long rows, but the best view is definitely from the middle. Even if you move to the back of the orchestra in the middle, they are still pretty good seats.

We like to eat at The Old Spaghetti Factory - 51 N. San Pedro - plenty of parking on street and city lot - a little bit of a walk - about 6 blocks - but worth it.
