This path runs the length through south San Jose all the way to Gilroy. Lots of trees, shade, a creek, wild life and people. Very calm and relaxing to walk there.
Great place for walking, jogging, bikes, strollers.... When there is water in the creek it adds a great ambience. Wild flowers in the spring!! It's wonderful. Park on the street outside the park - there is no fee for parking.
Though I have not the full distance pathway, I was delighted to discover this sanctuary so close to apartment complexes and big companies. My dog also found it very enjoyable, even on a leash. I recommend this experience to anyone who needs a break from...More

I've only biked part of the path probably what would be considered the northern most section right off 237. It is a well thought out path that is used by walkers, joggers, and bikers. Can't wait to ride its entirety.
it runs from gilroy to downtown san jose/alviso with hellyer park and lake at the halfway point. great place to walk, jog, or ride a bicycle. take water because there are no stores close by

This is a beautiful Park and the Walking Path is an enjoyable experience. You are in the midst of Nature and can really enjoy it - either alone or in Company
The path varies mile by mile but it's all relaxing. Demon cyclists can be a bit of a nuisance but most are polite. Choose early morning or late afternoon for a shaded stroll.
