OVERALL: Well maintained play and small zoo facility. Safe, intimate, shaded, updated play equipment, and family party areas; highlight this haven for small children ages 2-8. Facility is large and ornate enough to spark your child's play trigger but small enough for parents to navigate and maintain a semblance of control. Compared to a similar facility in Oakland, this place... More

Kids will enjoy the park. It is not as big as SF zoo so it is appropriate for family with young kids because they will not get exhausted. As there are some rides, kids will not get bored.

Perfect place for children between 1 and 7 years. Animals so that children can enjoy or touch or even child can give food to the animals sometimes with the instructor. The ticket is very expensive for those who have more than one child. But it's worth it because even today my kids/teenager remember one and only time they were there.

This is a great outdoor trip for families with younger kids - 2-7ish. A cute petting zoo, some animals, and a nice assortment of rides (and good variety for very young vs. older kids) and a good playground and another separate fun climbing structure. It is clean and feels safe. Their annual pass is a good deal if you are... More

took my kids there a few times...the park is just a park. the Japanese friendship garden is o.k. for someone who has not yet seen Japanese little trees, ponds with Koi fish, etc. but the kids petting zoo is really the reason to visit this park. if you want a nice nature walk, and you are on the eastside of... My wife and I took our 2 year old grandson here for the afternoon. It was a great place. A lot for the youngsters to do and very clean and well maintained. We will be visiting this park again.

On a recent visit to San Jose we took our two year granddaughter to Happy Hollow Park and Zoo. We only had time to visit the park because she loved all the rides. I believe that her favorite were all the slides, climbing things, and rope stairs. This was a great way to spend the morning!

if you want to enjoy a half day with your family in a decent place then this place would be good option. dont expect too much on rides and the zoo. Very limited rides and small zoo around 10 animals only. my 3 year old kid enjoyed her time with her friends on rides

A good place for small kids. Rids are premature and slow!! I'm sure fit toddlers and young children. Zoo is small as well, but kids like it and learn something. Best part, I guess is the animal farm! Goats, sheep, Pony, Cow, .... petting them is nice! Price is a bit high for this kind of arrangement. Muppet show was... More

This is a good place to take young kids - the rides are gentle, zoo is small & cute, lots of place to run around. My only grouse would be that it is a tad expensive for what it offers! But, if you live in the South bay, definitely an easily accessible and fun attraction to take your kids to.
