Best place to walk, jog or ride bikes (slowly 15mph limit). No cars to worry about except the parking near the trailhead gets crowded. There are bathroom facilities available and some water. Great views of Crystal Springs Reservoir and the dam.

All the ways with nice views. Really beautiful scenery. Toilets and benches available in the right spot. There are shades and sunshine. Suitable for all age

This is a beautiful, well maintained trail that I have run and hiked many times. It's paved which is either good or bad depending on your shoes and the condition of your joints. It also can crowded near the entrances. Wildlife can often be seen...More

I appreciate that this trail does not allow dogs as I am afraid of dogs and don't like being charged. I can relax and enjoy my walk here not having to worry about that. I also like that the park ranger has a regular appearance...More

There is cell service. Even though the trail seems rural and remote, it is actually not that far from civilization. Just feels that way

The bridge is currently undergoing replacement. Latest info on the project has a winter 2017 end date.
