Depending on the day and time you can walk along the path with a view of the hills, greens and water. It is a quiet time to step out of the hustle an bustle of a busy life. There are days when the bicyclists, joggers, and walkers all converge to "escape!" Always a relaxing and refreshing time in the "wilderness"... More

We ride our bikes several times a week on Sawyer Camp trail. The views of the Crystal Springs reservoir are spectacular. They have been renovating for years - sure wish they would get finished! Check to make sure it is open on weekdays - has been closed lately for renovations.

Beautiful scenery, beautiful people, perfect. The lake was so blue and with the fog coming over the coastal hills it was like you were in Brigadoon

Always a great way to get away from the hustle bustle of the day. Beautiful and serene, I escape here from time to time to enjoy nature.

My wife and I walk this paved trail regularly beginning at Crystal Springs Dam. It is paved and relatively flat. (If you want hills, you can begin at the Millbrae entrance and head south). The scenery is beautiful, and you will usually encounter some type of wildlife. It is also used by bicyclists and runners (haven't seen any horse riders... More

This is a multiuse trail with many many visitors. No dogs are allowed but some think there dog is an exception. Children need to be kept under direct supervision of parents for their own safety as well as others. A little girl about 8 lost control of her bicycle and bumped into my 93 year old mother. She felt badly... More

I've been running and hiking on Sawyer Camp road since I was a teenager and the road was still open to vehicle traffic. It was always a challenge back then to get out of the way of teenagers testing their driving skills on the windy dirt road. Well now it is a Public Park open to foot and bike traffic... More

This is an easy, ambling walk along the reservoir. Beautiful scenery and lots of bikers, runners and other walkers along the way. A great way for families of all ages to enjoy the outdoors on any day.

This is place is great for walking, running and biking. Better to get there early to avoid the small children on bicycles. That always makes me nervous cause I'm not that good a bicyclist. The scenery is amazing and there are plenty of flats and hills to keep you movated.

A great place to get outside and enjoy the wonderful California weather. We hiked two miles of the six mile trail. Saw a buck, a foe, and two fawns.
