CuriOdyssey is a serious science playground where kids can observe wild animals and experiment with real scientific phenomena. As a non-profit science museum and zoo, CuriOdyssey lets kids loose to observe wild animals, experiment with scientific phenomena and let the natural world answer their questions. We treat kids like the geniuses they are. Children can play with custom exhibits where they experiment and investigate the fundamental forces in nature while having fun. They see rescued native wildlife that includes river otters, bobcats, and raptors in a walk-through aviary. CuriOdyssey offers educational and fun science programs and camps with professional educators that give students experiences with phenomena that encourage inquiry and develop critical thinking. See the CuriOdyssey website for special events and special hours. https://curiodyssey.org

This used to be the Coyote Point Museum several years ago when I last went. It has apparently changed management since it is not how I remembered it. The museum is gone and is now different and smaller and is geared towards young kids without...More

This was formerly known simply as Coyote Park and was a place for school field trips, scouts outings, and family adventures. It has changed a lot, but the offerings, location, and landscape remain the same. It is a place I could go to again and...More

We took our young grandsons (7 and almost 5) for a couple of hours and, at that, felt a bit rushed. The design of this facility is quite ingenious, seamlessly mixing hands on science stuff for kids together with a collection of birds, insects, some...More
