Historic attraction you should not miss. Do not let the road discourage you. I had a great tri-trip sandwich and my wife had the chili verde that she is still praising. Good drink selection and a friendly staff. Close to Santa Barbara and Solvang.

Love the rustic feel, but we picked a hot day and there is no AC. I so wanted a five star experience but was let down. The portions are quite large. Food service is slow, but I actually didn’t mind that as it gave us...More

Casual restaurant with different rooms serving usual fare but always something different too. I’ve had venison, pheasant, and crocodile to name a few. Or if you don’t want dinner, just hang outside with others having a beverage of your choice. If it’s Sunday it’s trip...More

We had dinner at the Cold Spring Tavern. When we arrived, they had some music going and people were eating outside and it had a fun atmosphere. We are inside the restaurant. We ordered the tri tip sandwich, and the wild boar. The tri tip...More

A beautiful stop and always visit when in the area. It is timeless. Good food and great service. Not dog-friendly which is sad since there is so much outdoor seating available.

We've eaten here a number of times and were never disappointed. This was the first time that we had breakfast and really enjoyed it. Large portions served hot and at a fairly reasonable price. The service is prompt and professional. The area itself is beautiful...More

Hot , Muggy, Dirty, Lots of flies. We had heard a lot about this place over the years, and decided to swing by on our way to Santa Barbara. To be fair, arrived too late for lunch, and too early for dinner, so we were...More

Go to this cool place and enjoy the best tri tip in Santa Barbara. Be sure not to go with a large vehicle (Truck, RV etc.). The road is very narrow.

This place is so fun. Great place to stop after a ride. I personally like the restaurant food better than the tri-tip sandwiches. They have a grilled cheese that is to die for!! Friendly staff, even when the place is packed. Good drinks too. Love...More

Local watering hole that is very busy on the weekends. Generous Tri-tip sandwich for $10 and the onion rings are a must have along with a cold beverage. Fun to take out-of-towners too

A rental car really is a must...so many things to see! A car is a must to get to Cold Spring Tavern also. You really need to have a car to get around town and to the piers etc. They do have some bike rentals but that is... More

Even though it is a short distance from Santa Barbara, you really get the feeling that you are far away in the mountains. It is very rustic and there is not a lot of cement outside just very fine dirt. I would leave dogs in... More
