This didn't seem interesting when several people mentioned this as a tourist destination, but I changed my mind once I got there. It is worth the climb and the view is spectacular We parked kiddie-corner from the courthouse and it was free in the parking garage if you stayed less than 75 minutes. We did it in 30 minutes. There... More

Worth a visit. This courthouse has beautiful architecture somewhat reminiscent of Seville in Andalusia, Spain. Beautiful facades surrounded by lovely and peaceful gardens: wished we had our camera. The courthouse was closed on Christmas Day when we visited, but apparently the view from the clock tower is gorgeous.

I toured the court house as part of a restaurant walking tour. The view from the top is beautiful...much history and beautiful wall paintings are worth the visit.

This building is one of the most photographed buildings in America so if you are in town be sure to stop by and see why. It's free to take a docent tour and take in the views of the American Riviera from the tower. If your lucky you might get invited to attend an event there. They throw an annual... More

While there are plenty of services offered from processing passports to legal document searches, it's easy to get lost in the adventure of taking priceless and interesting photographs if you're a photographer. The view at the top of the courthouse is a must see (but I don't think it's handicapped accessible)

The top of the court house gives a great view of the whole town and the channel Islands. You get a good overall view of the Spanish flavor of the whole town. For one who loves talavera, there is lots of it throughout the lower floors and the murals are worth the time spent perusing. Certainly wish Austin could grow... More

This was a delightful surprise! We expected just to walk up to the top of the tower and look at the views but were pleasantly surprised by the vibrancy of real life going on!! Weddings queuing up, to include a fine young man (@ 7 y/o) welcoming guests into the beautiful and majestically appointed historic courthouse....but respectful tourists were still... More
