Very disappointing, lots of empty shops, possibly half of the units were empty, hardly anyone about, except in the coffee shops!

I would think that only one in three sites is occupied. A very sad reflection on a town with so much potential. It seems like the town is going downhill fast, such a shame!

Some things are not worth preserving. This city and the street are. Thankfully, the community supports this rich history, design and art. It is all kept alive by creative living talented cooks, shod keepers, artists and musicians.

State street is the main street of Santa Barbara. It cross all town, and it's over at the beach of Santa Barbara. On this street we find a lot of shops, restaurants, coffee shops.

Streets mostly empty. Maybe it was an off season time. Not a lot of interesting stores. It may be best to visit the Stet street during summer.

Best bet would be to take a hop-on, hop-off trolley. Direct, not from the ship, most ship trolley tours are none stop.
