We went on the Truth for a two day discovery dive and it was an amazing way to spend the weekend. This live aboard was very professionally done. The crew was friendly and very knowledgeable, captain Dave knew the Channel Islands very well and took us to amazing dive locations. The food and the sleeping accommodations were also exceptional! Although crossing to and from Santa Curz Island from Santa Barbara on the Vision, one of the Truth Aquatics boats, was a bit rough it was a beautiful day starting with the sunrise along the coast. We arrived at the first dive site, well protected from the rough seas, to explore a kelp filled bay. Though the marine life showed... More

Our first adventure with a Truth Aquatics live-aboard dive boat four years ago was great without any complaints! This trip, however, was quite different. The boat was clean and all but my husband and I took this trip to dive, not spend time between dives picking up anchors and moving the boat. Most of the dive sites, which were great,... More

Took a four day dive trip aboard the Vision. The food was OK, The first night was excellent, the rest was OK. I cook better for myself..I get better at independent diners everywhere... The diving itself was great, but then rocks and kelp always make for a great dive. It ain't rocket science, rocks+kelp = good dive site. I was... More

I have been diving with Truth Aquatics for many many years - sometimes multiple trips in a year, sometimes a few years between trips - but the experience is always the same. I have been on all 3 boats of the fleet, with the Vision (their biggest) being my favorite, mostly because of the stern-facing bench on the sun deck... More

Did an Aug. 16 - 20'th 5-day Southern Channel Islands limited load live-aboard trip on the Truth Aquatic's boat Vision. Loved it. Excellent value trip; rented tank & weights and bought nitrox via SEA Landing Dive Center, by where the boat docks. Got in 24 dives total, temp.s ranged from ~ 54 - 67 degrees, viz. from ~ 30 -... Hire SUP boards for $15 per hour. At the beach they are $25. Friendly staff. Have single and double jet boats as well as guided tours.

2nd year on a 3 day dive trip with friends, south swell, spent the entire 3 days on Santa Cruz Island, north side. viz was not the best, 5'-15'. Capt. Jerry found us some good dive sites, Deck Hand Chase was very attentive & helpful. Would recommend.
