This is one of the nicest UC campuses. In addition to the solid educational opportunities, the campus offers hiking, mountain biking, disc golf and countless recreational activities, most with spectacular views. No wonder so many students want to attend UCSC>

I drove my kid to campus for the first time at dusk to take a look before she checked into the dorm the next morning. As we entered the canopy of the redwood forest there were 3 wild turkeys on the side of the road,...More

UCSC has one of the prettiest locations I've seen for a college campus. The view from the athletic fields is amazing on a clear day, and the buildings nestled in the redwoods bring harmony. We visited the arboretum at the bottom of the hill, which...More

With its internationally-acclaimed Farm and Garden, Arboretum, and regular series of musical performances and art openings, UCSC is worth a visit for both locals and tourists. With operas, plays, and lectures on fruit trees and other topics at the Alan Chadwick garden, you'll find something...More

Toured the campus for my high school senior. Although he is choosing to go elsewhere, you couldn't ask for a more beautiful place to go to school. A deer walked right in fron of us in the courtyard, and their are tress (and hills!) everywhere.
