We're from NJ and this reminded me of Seaside, so if anyone has watched the Jersey Shore, you'll get the reference. There were a ton of games and rides. There were also souvenir shops. I really just like it because it was a nice day and it made me feel like a kid again. The people watching was great.

While some non Californians might find the Boardwalk a lesser amusement park, for Bay Area locals, the Boardwalk is a classic weekend getaway for families. The Giant Dipper is one of the most fun roller coaster experiences you can have - and it has a great ocean view to boot! Get the unlimited ride wristband for the best deals, and... More

The boardwalk was very fun, the best ride I would say is the roller coaster (I forgot what it's called) the oldest one there. The food was great as well. But nothing will top that mini golf course. In two days my boyfriend and I played 6 times I believe. It's that great!

Boardwalk is very fun, went with a bunch of friends and we went on the roller coasters and we went of the Farris Wheel. Amazing views of Santa Cruz boardwalk and pier from top of Farris Wheel! Very family friendly with rides and games for all ages. Have Laser Tag, Bowling, and mini golf inside as well as lots of... More

The beautiful views, the fun rides, the amazing smells, WOW! Furthermore, there are so many games to play, and an awesome bowling facility--Boardwalk Bowl. People who run the boardwalk keep it safe, fun and beautiful!

A great place for a stroll. The boardwalk is a lively, buzzing place with lots to see and do. Great views of the long, sandy beach and the water and lots of shore facing cafes and bars to while away the time We loved Santa Cruz and did the boardwalk each and every day we were there.

We really enjoyed the boardwalk, plenty of great rides for all ages. There are arcades, games, food vendors, mini golf and of course the beach. The boardwalk seems to go on forever and we got some good exercise checking out everything. The rides are $5-7 and the food is expensive like any theme park but the thing I enjoyed most... More

We went when they opened at 11am, and almost had the place to ourselves for the first couple of hours. Later on, the crowd was so thick, we could barely move. This place is tons of fun, and The Giant Dipper is a classic roller coaster.

The Santa Cruz boardwalk surprised us by being both nostalgic and modern. The rides were well kept and fairly modern but the overall vibe of the place was a definite throwback. The kids would have lingered there for hours if we had more time!
