This is a beautiful little beach but the large amounts of seaweed piles make it almost unbearable. We are beach people so we have no problem with some here and there but this was overkill. We were able to find a good spot but man,...More

Great views and a nice beach. Spent July 4th here and had a really good time. Water was too cold for me to enjoy, but a lot of other people were swimming.

Such a fun and relaxed atmosphere, like taking a step back in time. The boardwalk is great fun, as are the amusement rides (before cocktails, though). The beach is rough and the water is cold, so not sunbathing here. The pier is fun with a...More

It's hard to find a better sunrise or sunset that Santa Cruz Harbor Beach. The colors are so rich and vibrant. Fun to walk along the pier and watch/listen to the seals or watch the surfers. A little bit of paradise.

Like the beach, but basically get bored after an hour or two? Harbor beach has an active volleyball crowd, both top notch players and play around jungle ball. Not snooty. Beach is a great spot for body surfing and skim boarding. ~ 7 months of...More

We went to the Santa Cruz Harbor area for dinner. There is a nice beach there. One can also walk out to the lighthouse. We also walked by the harbor area.

Lots of sand area. Next to canal where boats come out from harbor. Spent day laying in sun and running up and down beach with our Yorkie. He loved it so much, never saw him smile so much

Great place to sit down and relax...time to slow down from the busy world. It doesn't take long for the waves to grow in increasing size and they crash to the shore. Please use caution if you venture into the water.
