7600 Foxen Canyon is a newish winery and tasting facility. 7200 Foxen Canyon is their old original barn, come tasting room. It is this one I remember from years ago. Each provides a different type of wine to taste. 7600 is primarily Pinot Noirs, 7200 is everything else they produce, whites and reds. Our visit on May 24, is the... More

After riding our bicycles 25 miles out, we stopped at the winery as it is the turnaround point of the Sideways route. We needed water and a rest but ended up tasting. Thank goodness we did as their reserve flight blew us away. As we had no room on the bikes, we shipped some bottles back home. Again, thank goodness... More

Foxen makes some of the best wine in the valley. Their Vineyard is on the Foxen Canyon trail. It is well worth the drive out to the tasting room. Stunning beautiful surroundings and the reward is great wine. The Tasting room can get crowed - so be patient. Try going on a week day, but check their hours before you... More

We visited this winery because a friend of ours is a big fan. He called ahead and we were treated like royalty. For me their pinot noirs are too big and don't really taste like pinots. They are good wines, just not to my taste. Their Mourvedre/Grenache blend is very good and their "Toasted Rope" Syrah is excellent. Though I'm... More

Foxen was the second stop on our Saturday afternoon of tasting on the Foxen Canyon Wine Trail. Be prepared, as one of the better known producers in the area, the winery can get pretty crowded. Which it was when we arrived. Our group of four managed to find a spot at the end of the bar, which worked out perfectly... More

My favorite place to stop when we're in the area. I love the laid back rustic vibe of the "shack". Beautiful scenery and the people that work there are always friendly. Highly recommend.

Visited last September and decided to make it first stop of our return to the area for wine tasting. Did not disappoint. As I indicated in previous review there are actually two different tasting rooms with different varietal tastings. We returned to the newer site at 7600 since I specifically wanted more of their Pinot Noir, My wife and her... More

Foxen Winery's Pinot Noirs have been getting well-deserved attention. These highly rated wines offer an interesting variety of really delicious Pinots. Some are light and elegant and some are more full-bodied than you'd expect in a Pinot. There are three choices of tastings, which vary by price: one is the more usual wines, all of which were quite good; one... More

This is a must if you are doing any wine tastings. You actually need to stop at both tasting rooms. Stop by the old shed first and then go to the newer building. They are only 1/4 mile apart. They have different tastings though and give a totally different exposure to Foxen. Great great wines. Some fantastic pinots. (though I... More
