I don’t normally like sweet wines but the lychee wine was super good. They have bocce ball on their grounds which is a lot of fun. There’s also a lavender farm but it wasn’t in season. Can’t wait to return when it’s in bloom.

We went to Matanzas for the lavender, and we were not disappointed. They had plenty of lavender items to purchase and smelled divine.

The staff at Matanza is exceptional. They are helpful, fun, and upbeat. The wines are delicious, the lavender is beautiful, and the wine and cheese tasting impeccable. Don't miss a trip out to the lavender barn, it's very cool.

Family members are club members so tasting was free. Nice perq. Younger group took self guided tour of the grounds. Bocci court and bean bag game offer entertainment for those not tasting.
