All their wines are very nice and pair well with food! They have a nice roomy indoor tasting room and a lovely picnic area, which also has a bocce court! We are club members, so we attended a recent "wine shipment pickup party"; they had small plates of food and entertainment. It was a delightful way to spend part of... More

We really enjoyed our visit to Hook & Ladder. It is a nice, smaller winery that has really nice wines. The staff there is wonderful and very welcoming. Our server, Robin, was a lot of fun. She was well informed on the wines and made our tasting very enjoyable! Their "Third Alarm" and their 2014 Estate Gewurztraminer were our favorites!... More

This is one of our go to wineries as the wines are good, the staff is friendly, say hi to Mike from Connecticut who poured for us when we there. Enjoyable wines for any occasion, our favorite Station 10 and Tillerman

I visited Hook and Ladder during the Wine and Food Affair weekend. Overall, I was not impressed with their wines. Granted, their prices were lower than most of their neighboring wineries; however, for a few dollars more a bottle the difference in taste and quality was significant. Unlike many of the other reviewers, I was not impressed.

Their wines are delicious the Station 10 Zin and Guwertz were amazing. Devin was so helpful and even brought out the Corn Hole for us to enjoy! We will definitely be back. Thanks for... More

This family winery is worth the drive. Peaceful setting. It is named in honor of Cecil DeLoach the founder and a former fireman. The decor has firefighters jerseys from all over the country. Oak barrels are also a nice touch. The staff is friendly, informative and fun. But let's get down to why I go to wineries..The WINE! We tasted... More

The name Hook and Ladder refers to one of the owners being a fire man. There is a red fire truck out front and the tasting room is decorated with shirts from dozens of fire departments. In the back of the space are the oak barrels, which convey a feeling of authenticity to this family owned facility. The wines are... More
