One of our favorite wines and now one of our favorite wineries to visit! Staff were very helpful and all of the tasting choices were amazing. To top it off there was an outdoor BBQ which had the best lamb kabobs and quinoa. Everything about our visit was excellent and we will be back as soon as we can.

Devin, the Tasting Room Manager, was a great Host....informative, friendly and funny. What more could you ask for? We had a great time tasting, touring the facilities and enjoying a picnic in the vineyards.

We walked from our airbnb place. It was a cute place off Olivet rd. their wine selection and variety was very good. The wine counselor was excellent. We bought two of their wines and enjoyed our experience. There are no picnic tables.

Wines were okay- the tasting room is neat with all the shirts and patches. Everyone was friendly, and they had some really good reds.

Our server was knowledgeable with almost thirty years with the winery. Although we did not buy any wines, the tasting was nice and we learned about the history. They seem to hang T-shirts from various fire departments from the ceiling so take one to donate if you care.

The Hook and Ladder Winery is a fun place to visit. I enjoyed their wines but I prefer more European varietals. Great place to go for firefighters.

We had a wonderful time tasting wines at Hook and Ladder. Staff is very knowledgeable and so friendly! They don't ship to our state unfortunately, but were able to help us out with shipping materials so we were able to ship a box home ourselves. Would definitely drop in again if back in the area. They have a nice array... More

A local had told us that the Hook and Ladder Winery was one of his favorites so always take the advice of a local! We were fortunate to have arrived right when they opened at 10 on a Saturday so no one was there. It was interesting to see firemen's shirts hanging from the rafters. Rick was very friendly and... This small winery had surprisingly and consistently good reds. The savignon balances and the chardonnays were excellent, as well. The tasting area is roomy and the staff is exceptionally welcoming. Prices on their wines were mostly in the mid-20's per bottle, much more reasonable than some lesser quality wines in the area. I'd make this a definite stop in the... More

I visited this winery with my family (4 couples) in June during a weeklong trip to Sonoma County. This was the first winery we visited during our trip. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, even allowing an extra taste or two when we expressed interest in a certain wine. They had bocce outside, which we enjoyed playing while relaxing...
