So fortunate to live near this County Park. I purchase a pass every year even tho I can easily walk in without one.

a nice place for a walk, swim, kayak or birthday party. I highly recommend taking the time to check it out if you are into any of those things.

Besides enjoying several choices of hikes, we have rented kayaks with the grandkids and had a picnics. There is a paved trail which is friendly for strollers or wheel chairs as well as bikes. There's a life guard attended large swimming pond for the kids, and an outdoor cafe. There are a few rides on the Howarth Park side for... More

It has good parking, lots for kids to do and a good variety of paved trails plus some dirt trails. It is a large park and a good walk around the lake is about 45 minutes.
