"Peanuts" devotees won't be disappointed in the museum that memorializes the work of cartoonist Charles M. Schulz, who made Santa Rosa his adopted hometown.

The museum features an early mural of Charlie Brown and Snoopy, a wood relief sculpture of Snoopy showing the changes in the famed cartoon dog's appearance over the years and Schulz's actual work studio.

Have wanted to visit the Peanuts Mueseum for so long. Found myself in Sonoma County as our family needed a beach day. We booked a tide pool tour with Smart Tours which was so much fun and interesting. Went to the mueseum after the beach and the kids had a great time. I truly enjoyed it as well being a... More

although it's more amazing for kids than for adults, I really liked this museum and its atmosphere! It brought back my childhood memories and I loved the way they organized this place- Across the street there's the amazing Snoopy's Home Ice designed by Schulz ; I found so exciting to be where he used to draw and live. Lovely shop... More

I grew up on Snoopy and little did I know that when I moved to Sonoma County, Charles Schulz was in my backyard. This museum is one of a kind and has terrific tourist features for all age levels. Snoppy and his gang all live in side of us, so why not roam around with them for a few hours?!

This is a great place to visit. Try to wait for the tour from one of the guides from the museum. It gives a lot of information. From his beginnings to the very last comic strip that he wrote. Worth the visit. Plan to stay there for 1 hour or longer.

We spent about 90 minutes at the Charles Schulz Museum. Since it's not open on Tuesdays we had to fit in a short afternoon visit on Monday due to other travel plans. This was fine though because I don't think you need much more than 2 hours. It's not a large museum but the exhibits are interesting. We enjoyed the... More
