"Peanuts" devotees won't be disappointed in the museum that memorializes the work of cartoonist Charles M. Schulz, who made Santa Rosa his adopted hometown.

The museum features an early mural of Charlie Brown and Snoopy, a wood relief sculpture of Snoopy showing the changes in the famed cartoon dog's appearance over the years and Schulz's actual work studio.

This is the home for Charlie Brown, Snoopy and their friends, located next to Snoopy's Home Ice. You can see the progression of each of the characters as they grew into what we now know and love. All of the books that tell the stories of the group, the best being "Happiness is a Warm Puppy". You can see the... More

What a great little museum. Being Peanuts fans, we were very happy to have finally visited this shrine to all of Charlie Brown's friends. Great collection of exhibits that keep you interested in an easy to follow layout. So much to see and so many memories in one place. Be sure not to miss the theatre as it is continuously... More

Nothing says Americano as much as "Peanuts" cartoon and Charles Schulz's Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Lucy etc. If you are on your way to wine country in Sonoma or Napa, you must stop at this iconic cultural center, the Charles m. Schulz Museum. It will bring back great memories for most of your childhood and enable you to share the day... More

I went mid-week mid-day with a wheelchair bound aunt - so I can attest that the museum is handicapped accessible. It's small - but a small gem. Most of the exhibits are more of interest to adults - and Peanuts fans (and who isn't one?). There are plenty of comic strips to admire and remember - both permanent and as... More

I was surprised how modern, large and interesting this museum was. Even if you're not a die hard Peanuts fan, this is a great way to gain an insight to mid century American culture. If you have time, worth seeing the interview with Charles Schulz. Really well laid out museum that really gives a sense of the man, his humor... More

What a wonderful local way to spend the day (or days ). Imaginative museum with so much for the little ones. Adults and teens too! We will be bringing out of town visitors here from now on! Then a little skating next door!

Cool placek to go if you grew up in the Peanuts era. Lots of history here. We bought a cool Woodstock Christmas ornament. The memorabilia on display will take you back to your childhood, if you're 50 and over. My 12 year old nephew would love to come here also.

My family had a great time visiting the Museum. Both my kids (11 and 7) enjoyed exploring the museum, learning more about the Peanuts history, and especially creating cartoon strips in the lab. I highly recommend looking at the movie showings in the auditorium. My family really loved seeing A Charlie Brown Christmas in the big screen!

Nice mix of his work and his personal side. I thought this museum would be aimed at kids but, as an adult, I found it very interesting and worthwhile.

Growing up I loved reading "Peanuts" in the comics every day. The museum was a nice trip down memory lane and a great way to learn about it's creator Charles Schulz. However, if you are looking for a way to entertain the kids for a few hours this is probably not the place. We were hoping to find a livelier... More
