Good range of wine for decent price

Nice winery, staff friendly and the wine is pretty decent. Prefer more the white than the red wines Nice location and nice patio to chill too

Brander Winery is known for its Sauvignon Blanc, with Fred Brander sometimes being called the King of Sauvignon Blanc of California. We went to sample this, plus his reserve Cab and were not disappointed. The tasting room was nicely appointed with a very friendly staff and generous pours. Our tasting was interrupted by 2 bachelorette parties, plus two other couples... More

I was hauling people from Boston around the Santa Inez wine country and the wanted to see "a vineyard" . I called in a few friends and they recommended Brander. Delightful spot. Very nice and knowledgeable staff without a hint of haughtiness. Two reasonable flights to taste at $15 or $20 for reserve. Nice samples. Beautiful vineyard surrounding. My friends... More

Fred Brander is renowned for the qualities of his fine white, pink and red wines. In fact, he is the only winemaker to produce several styles of Sauvignon Blanc, all of which stand among my favorites in the region. Just don't miss out on his distinctive Cabernet Franc, Bordeaux style Cabernet blends, and dry Roses.

My sister and I went here and had the pleasure to taste white wine. The ladies behind the counter were all nice and friendly. The white wine was ok (for my taste). The place (grounds) was not that big but lovely with a garden on the side and then the vineyards to enjoy.

I am writing this review strictly on the quality of the wines we tasted, and they were all very well made. They produce an amazing variety of Bordeaux and Rhone whites that are varied and outstanding and their red blend and two Cabernets are also excellent. Do not miss out on this tasting!

It was a treat to visit Brander Vineyards and taste its Bordeaux style classics, including a Cabernet that was neither overly extracted nor herbaceous like other area wines. The menu of five different Sauvignon Blancs was an added treat. Hard to say which of the many wines that I liked the best, but it was a close tie between the... More

If you like wineries that are not found at Safeway you will love this one. Wonderful wines we spent our budget here but well worth it. The people are very receptive and knowledgeable. Tastings are $10 and $15 but if you but 3 bottles the fee is waved for 1. You will not regret the stop.

Standard wine tasting set up in a smallish tasting room. Despite it being not too busy it felt like the pourer was pretty mechanical. The wine selection was decent but nothing stood out.
