A beautiful location with several lakes separated by walking trails, children's play areas, and a store. Many trees to provide shade, and many picnic tables also available. Lots of birds and ducks around the lake, and fishing permitted in some areas. Paddle boats and canoes available for recreation, however, no swimming allowed. Camp sites also available with reservations at the... More

Calm place to relax and bike. Safe environment. Nice swimming pool and great bike ride or walk around lake or lakes. Recommend reservations for the cabins and camping

I have spent many hours here, whether it be walking the nearby trails, a quiet day fishing or meeting friends in the campground area there is endless things to do here and nearby. This visit had to do with a meeting of a bunch of friends and we utilized the clubhouse. Plenty of room for everyone, plenty of room for... More

This is a beautiful campground with a lot of different site choices to choose from. The pool is pretty cold however and it was in the 80's this weekend and the pools were way to cold for us to get into. The hot tub was a funny green yellowish color which kept me from getting in it. Scary. The man... More

This lovely park consists of a string of man-made lakes which stretches for several blocks. It is possible to park on Lake Canyon drive for free and just walk in and thereby save the parking fee (about $8). They have paddle boats and kayaks you can rent and paddle around (with life vests) which the kids love. Zillions of water... More

Santee lakes is a great destination for families, seniors, singles... A string of lovely outdoor lakes with many varieties of outdoor entertainment. I love the swan boats but, there are also places for games, sports and playgrounds and, best of all, fishing or just relaxing by the water.

This is a wonderful and clean park to visit. You can fish too! In the summer they have movies which is very nice to take the family and have a picnic. Early morning is a great time to walk around the lakes.

I have been here a few times and they have made a lot of improvements for the family. I love camping but I'd rather camp further away from a city.
