We did the travelzoo voucher for tour and tasting here. Shaye was awesome and super knowledgable. We are new to wine tasting and there was no question we felt uncomfortable asking. The wine was good and the grounds were good. Best part was the tour!

Yes, this place is very family friendly. However, you should probably call them to ask about children on the tour.
