Wondering around the internet today I ended up on this page and figured I would weigh in. In the context of full disclosure I am a member here but that is due to the wines and "bubble" of course, but more so for the service and the people. I always bring friends to the tasting patio and often they end... More

I just got one of those "your memories" posts on FB about our trip to Gloria last year and have to say it was one of the most memorable days tasting. When visiting wine country, our group is all about "experiences" and I must say that one of my favourites was our visits to Gloria Ferrer. We were ending our... More

My 3 sisters and I, on our annual sisters vacations went to miner family winery(outstanding), Raymond winery, (outstanding), lunch at mustards grill,(outstanding), and the Gloria ferrar to finish our day. Gloria ferrar was a major disappointment primarily due to Jessie w, who was our waitress. After we had been directed to a table overlooking the valley, a spectsctlar view, Jessie... More

We came with a party of 8 in August and had such a good time—really generous flights and great cheese platter with goat/sheep/cow cheeses and nuts and fruit (we always carry our own rice crackers to deal with our gluten allergies- wish more people would include that option on their menu). Now I admit, I am biased because I personally... More

A great place to sit on the deck, sip excellent champagne overlooking a gorgeous vinyard and valley. If you local their wine clubs allow you unlimited visits. A great summer afternoon activity.

Off on another adventure, my wife and I decide to trek to Sonoma for the first time to experience more of what the valley has to offer for amazing wineries. Today we were treated to much more than a wine tasting.... Our one short day in Sonoma was spent at the Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards. We were fortunate enough... More

Although the scenery was nice it didn't make up for the "pushy" server. This is the only tasting we did during our week that repeatedly pushed buying product. We had made our reservation b/c we were going to be close and had great expectations about the wines. We all drink sparkling wines regularly and these was not impressive and the... More

The wine from this Vineyard was above average at best. Had the sampler but just wasn't great for a wine enthusiast. The visit is worth it if you want to walk around the facility as that is a beautiful area.

What a disappointment. Very good wine, very expensive wine, very! The staff were robots. Pushing people through with canned speeches and very direct attempts to sell as much as possible as fast as possible, and hustle us back out the door. I really thought this would be a great stop, nope. We won't be back. We had just come from... More

As others have mentioned, the view from the patio is beautiful. We experienced rather disappointing service on a recent visit. The wine educator, first initial J, was not welcoming and seemed flummoxed most of the time. We had planned to hang out for a while but the experienced coupled with the fact that we didn't enjoy several of the wines... More
