Ram's Gate Winery embodies the convergence of great wine, design and hospitality. Situated at the historic gateway to the Carneros region, Ram's Gate was created with the belief that in a world obsessed with making things faster, where speed is valued above all else, a delicious wine is the way to press pause - to savor and enjoy what we love most.

Amidst sweeping views of the surrounding vineyards, we offer a portfolio of estate and single vineyard wines made from the grapes of the region's marquee vineyards.

We had booked a private tour as we were a group of 20 ppl. Our tour guide was very knowledgable. Had a tasting of 4 wines - Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot noir and Syrah, with food to accompany the wine. Great pairings. Fantastic wines. Lovely location. Will come back to do a picnic!

Stopped in for another great wine tasting this past Sunday. The wines, setting, and architectural design of the building is all top notch...and then there is the food pairings! My wife and I had the wonderful octopus salad to pair with the Chardonnays, and a truly delicious pork tenderloin to pair the Pinots. If you are not a member the... More

We arrived without reservations and got a seat at the tasting bar.....thanks to the host. He informed us that we needed reservations to actually sit at the tables on the patio. In the one hour we were there no one was seated at the patio tables. That is unfortunate that they consider that everyone is not their guest and give... More

This winery is magnificent. The grounds are filled with magnificent views, the tasting rooms are beautifully furnished and wonderfully comfortable and the wines are fantastic.

We were in wine country for a couple of days, and some friends from San Francisco come up for a day to join us. Ram's Gate was our final stop, as its location allowed our friends to get on their way back to the city relatively quickly. What this winery has going for it is its facility. It was STUNNING.... It's a beautiful tasting room and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. It was suggested we visit by a wine professional in Austin and he was right. The wines were beautiful and were perfect with the Christmas Eve dinner we cooked in our rental. The server was well informed, charming and helpful. Red wine fans, this is a must go!

Wow We have been to Tuscany but this place tops the Italians hands down. Greatly decorated for the Christmas season. A fabulous place in Sonoma. Didn't find anything like it in Napa. Wow and the wine was great too. They waved one tasting fee ($40) if you purchase a bottle.

This was our first stop traveling from Sonoma to Napa. We loved the tasting room, it is open and airy with fireplaces. It was one of the tasting rooms that stood out on our entire trip. It has a relaxed and chill vibe. Our service was great once someone realized we hadn't been helped! We did sit there for a... More

Would not recommend this when you are in the area. So many other wineries that are so much more professional and welcoming. Terrible tour, rushed and the person did not know a lot about the wines. When we visited it was our 4th day in the area, we did 5 winery tours prior to this stop and this was the... More

You won't regret visiting this winery in Sonoma even if you don't drink wine. The location, the architecture of the winery itself, the grounds with beautiful landscaping, the views surrounding the winery and the food that you can order without tasting their wines are worth a visit. Tours of the winery are offered and you must make a reservation!
