Travelling down highway, stopped on road near Casino and hotel, but couldn't find a way down to the water? Not particularly special, and its a man made reservoir! Many other good natural lake....Mono just down the road for example!

Fantastic, spectacular and amazing sunrise at the Best Western at Topaz Lake. Very spacious and exceptional clean room. Just perfect!

awesome spot to take a break from driving hwy.395! the views are excellent and one can get gas and food there as well..if one so desires there's a couple of hotels and a casino perched on the side of the roadside to take advantage of!

My husband and I were driving down the 395 and decided to stop at lake topaz It's a nice view but there are way to many mosquitoes I highly recommended using OFF spray because those nasty bugs are hungry for flesh

We were traveling down the 395 and saw this lake. It was so gorgeous and pristine that we had to stop. It was well worth the stop. We didn’t go into the lake or rent boats but the weather was nice enough to do so....More

Topaz Lake is a very nice lake on the California Nevada border. There was no service for AT&T customers in this area. We stayed at Topaz Lake RV Park. They have free wi-fi. This is a small park but there were some very large RV's...More
