Unique display of cactus and succulents. A must do place for visitors staying with us. Walking around it is amazing the various types of these plants that are on display. They also have a wonderful nursery where you can but plants!

It is awesome that Walnut Creek has this little gem so close to downtown to keep Ruth Bancroft's legacy going. Certainly worth a pit stop to enjoy the scenery and open space.

Lots of succulents and cacti that are kept in excellent condition. Ms Bancroft wanted to have all of the plans very natural. So many of them have brown leaves. That adds to the charm.

This is the first garden I've visited comprised mainly of succulents. I never realized there were so many different varieties! It does not take long to visit.

Abundance of flowering cactus in this garden in April, plus excellent detailed descriptions of other trees, bushes, groundcover, etc. many of which are not native to California.
