If you have time to kill before a flight, have transport and like hiking this is a great option. The rangers are most helpful and there are plenty of trails to choose from. Easy to difficult all within a redwood forest.

This is a really nice park with great hiking trails with switchbacks; moderate to challenging hikes; there is a fee to enter the park

Huddart is a beautiful park with many trails to take, big expanses of grassy areas, a playground and picnic areas galore. You could spend the day there easily. Absolutely gorgeous Redwoods!

The distances varies from map to the signs and it's hard to figure out where the trails start. The signage is not precise enough and if you are a novice you can probably get lost in the maze of trails. The woods are beautiful and...More
