Got in a great 6 mile walk/hike (flat terrain) along the Boulder Creek - delightful and gorgeous views. Stopped a couple times to sit on large river rocks and meditate. Perfect morning activity.

We were able to walk all the way from our room at the Boulder Adventure Lodge to downtown, and could have taken several detours had time allowed. The path is very well maintained, with sections done by both the city and county. Lots of runners...More

This is not the first time we have walked along the creek, often from the Dushambe Tea House to the public library with the glassed in bridge over the creek. The walking path emphasizes the quality of life that has been advanced in Boulder.

Beautiful area to people watch, skateboard, walk, run but do beware of a lot of homeless people. Also, we smelled a lot of marijuana in the area even though it’s an open area that’s very well maintained.

I only recall one fountain on the path. Most people carry their own bottled water or fill up a bottle with water. This is important if you're coming from low altitude. The climate is semi-arid and the altitude around 6,000... More
