Touring the stars is one of the great pleasures of life. Whether you are a nomad or a sailor or a camper or just another person that likes to gaze up to the sky. The sky shows are great and certain nights telescopes are made available for public viewing. There are also laser and music shows.

you can go here for any astronomical event; they are so nice to everyone, extremely accommodating. I have seen meteors, and the asteroids that collided with Jupiter ages ago. Any nightime event that makes you look to the stars, go here and enjoy it more.

While staying in the Boulder area, we purchased night tickets for their "Pink Floyd" lazer show on a Saturday eve. I cannot say enough, how amazing their lazer show was! Hands down the best lazer show I have ever seen! First off, it was such a good deal ($10.00 per person) for a 2 hour show of a professional, perfectly... More

I visited the Planetarium today and was so disappointed. I went to a Family show, that would not accept the Groupon that was offered because it was a special event period. As I did not want to try to go back up to Boulder with my Daugher and her four sons, I paid the full price and we went into... More

You can usually find a groupon to come here. It's a great place for a really hot summer day and you want to cool off but not move or a cold, snowy/rainy day. I've been here for numerous shows and recently did a Slipknot/Marilyn Manson laser light show. They even brought in the local DJ and raffled off a pair... More

This place is awesome. Their shows are great, and their technology is world class. I've been to lots of Planetariums, even worked in one for a short time, and this is the best.

We didn't expect to catch a lecture on stars but this Planetarium has quite a busy agenda for visitors who come between 1 and 4:30. The Planetarium also had a variety of evening laser shows paired to music (Pink Floyd, Foo Fighters) which sound interesting. The Planetarium sits in the middle of what looks like a completely renovated campus which... More

Everyone is sure to love this planetarium. The information is interesting and understandable, kids will definitely be entertained, and it's just as fun for adults. They have awesome laser shows in the dome that are beyond belief-I've never seen anything like it before! A must see for anyone visiting in Boulder.

A planetarium is about grandeur: about the greatest of all theaters, that of the universe itself. There can be little doubt that the Fiske Planetarium achieves the first, easiest level of magnificence, that conferred by the possession of spectacular equipment. With respect to the purely technical side of popular astronomy, the Fiske remains unparalleled. Its top-quality star projector, its wraparound... More
