Beautiful, fun hike, especially between the first and second flatiron, Gives you views of the back range from the top and know-out views of the city as you climb up the trail.

The Flatirons are a site to behold. When you drive over the highest part of the Turnpike and start down in to Boulder Valley, it is a stunning site to see

You do not have to be a hiker to enjoy the flatirons. You can drive all the way to the top and there're several places to stop a long the way. Next time I'm in town I'll be spending a day hiking here for sure!

I love Boulder. lots of short ( or long ) hikes, biking and parks like this one. Great people on the trails, just doing the Boulder fitness thing, many with fun to meet dogs.

The Boulder Flatirons are beautiful and offer a great backdrop for town. But they offer more than views. From technical rock climbing to gentle paths it offers something for everyone.

We were there much later than April when the weather was very warm and all the walks were available. Looking at the answers from other contributors it could be a problem or you may strike lucky. Sorry can't be helpful.
