We have visited many times with the kids. We use it for homeschool outings too. Tour the mine, gold pan, or both. Friendly staff, resident dog, and the burros makes this a pleasant and educational experience.

These tour was really good especially the underground tour, the staff was very informative and everybody was very friendly during the tour, I highly recommend the tour only when it is not too cold because it might be extremely cold inside

Impromptu stop turned out to be entertaining and informative. Great place to take kids! Nice outdoor area and the underground tour was really cool.

We decided to check this out on a last-minute whim. It was fabulous! Our guide was very knowledgeable. It was crazy to hear how miners worked in the past. If you have any interest in this type of tour, definitely go! It’s worth it.

Highly recommended! I came from Australia and it was amazing to hear about all the history in these mountains. Our guide was unbelievably knowledgeable and from the moment we walked up we left incredibly welcome. When you're leaving.... take the slide to your car!!
