The older gentleman was not friendly and he kept trying to peddle and upgrade everything underneath the sun. Felt very rushed even though me and another person were the only ones there. Prices are very high.

We had an amazing experience! The staff was super friendly and helpful! They answered all our questions with a great attitude the entire time!(We had lots of questions) lol! We were completely taken care of! They had everything that we needed to have a great day at the slopes! Also they are one of the only places that will rent the outerwear for skiing and they are located right by peak 9 entrance so it is very convenient! Next time we will be back there again! Thank you guys for your great customer service! A+

Great service, great equipment, great environment. Absolutely the best rental experience we have ever had. They took great care of us with a degree of professionalism and kindness we will never forget. We will be customers for life!

After negative rental experiences on the last two ski trips (at Breck and elsewhere), I was very pleasantly surprised and couldn't have been happier with Blue River Sports. It became clear in the first minute of walking in that they were on top of things and in total control. Someone was actually *in front of* the counter handling intakes, getting the paperwork and directing people. The boot person listened to me describe my issues and made an effort to accommodate me. I was then directed to the ski/pole person, who also helped me adjust my helmet. They really work as a team and handled our group quickly and efficiently without rushing us through and were nice about it, too.
Two of us had to return for different reasons, and they worked with us to switch out equipment and improve our experience. And they were accommodating and nice throughout; they did not make us feel like we were interruptions or high-maintenance customers.
It really makes me wonder why other shops treat you with such irritation. Maybe they don't actually hate you; maybe they are just completely stressed out. But Blue River Sports has found a different perspective that allows them to work quickly but still treat the customer well and even offer a friendly word and/or smile. This was probably the best and most pleasant rental experience I've had over many ski trips and resorts.
This shop is the BEST, and whenever I ski Breck, I will definitely rent from them. Best rates + best service = winning formula!! Highly recommended.

This was our first visit to Breckenridge. We used Blue River Sports to rent our equipment at the recommendation of our Airbnb host. I reserved everything online prior to our arrival. When we walked through the doors we were greeted immediately by the staff. The girl who helped us literally jumped up from what she was doing to help us. They guided us through the process and had us in and out within 30 minutes. We would definitely use them again!

They are awesome! Didn’t realize how awesome they were until we rented from Keystone sports in Keystone. Blue River is amazing and does such a good job of fitting. They take the time to make sure your boots are right before you leave. Prices are great. We will always rent from BlueRiver when in Breck.

Rented our skis and clothes on our last trip and had the best customer service possible. We had a couple of folks with us that had never skied before and the staff offered excellent advice. Will definitely use again on our next trip!

This is our third time renting from Blue River Sports. Their great pricing is what drew us in, initially. But, we absolutely love this family-run business. They are efficient, well-organized and so chipper ~ rental pick-up/ drop-off is always easy.

The best place and staff in Breckenridge to rent skis, boards and all the gear you need. Recreation or high performance equipment is available with a staff that knows their gear. Always ready to help or answer questions. Good prices and location at the end of Main Street. Its the only place in Breck. we go for gear.
