Nice ski resort with different levels of trail

I am still a beginner in ski. The fact that there are different levels of trails and I can start in mid level on wide trail without too many people was very helpful.

Big place to find anything from tree skiing to ready groomers and for the extremists lots of bowls. Peak 6 is new for me and a lot of fun. Placed in a small town walking distance to any restaurant you want and an easy drive to do many more resorts, Vail, beaver Creek, copper mountain. Been coming here for many... More

I know I know the weather varies day to day and last week there were some hot days (apparently) but I have skied here a total of let's say 30 days over 10 years and my abiding memories are: A) Fantastic challenging skiing B) Boy it's cold Really on a powder day this is so rewarding and there is so... This is a great resort and enjoyed our stay. I wish there was information regarding Altitude sickness before coming, our family was affected and knew nothing about this risk. It seems that is hidden due to fear that tourists will not come here and it's a mistake. You want turista to be aware and prepare.

This is a huge and spreadout resort with something for everything. I highly recommend it . It has heaps of groomed if that is what you want and peak 6 and the independence offers plenty of ungroomed if you prefer. One of the best things was the free Satellite parking area. The bus runs every 7 mins and drops you... More

Having boarded in the three valleys, France for the last few years this was definitely different. Positives; the snow is great, the powder unbelievable, the lift queuing process is far more polite and organised here and staff are much more amenable! Negatives; it's really bloody expensive! The lift pass is three times that of the three valleys and the sneaky... More

My 11 year old son and I spent President's Day Weekend in Breckenridge. We skied Breck Thursday through Saturday and had a ball. The runs were wonderfully groomed, wide and fun. I'm most comfortable on the Green and Blue runs and was very happy with the variety of both. We stayed at the base of Peak 9 and would highly... More

Too busy! Not easy to find free parking. Skiing can be amazing though! Not one of my favorite places to ski because of the crowds but during the week with good snow it can be a lot of fun.

There are MANY green (beginner) hills available. The green hills were fairly flat and "boring" scenery IMO. The runs are more wide open with less turns (than nearby Keystone).

this was my first trip to Breck and I already can't wait to go back. It's one of the easiest places in the US to learn how to ski. And there are so many green trails you won't get bored. For the more seasoned skier there are plenty of blue and black single and double diamond. 5 different peaks in... More
