I wouldn't make this a destination, but wouldn't miss it if driving by. The views were great. The information at the pavilion was interesting and in addition to the Collegiate Peaks, included facts about Elk, Bighorn Sheep and other wildlife. There was also information about...More

With so many places to see in CO, this was certainly not one of the best places to see. The views are ok. They have restrooms on-site.

This is yet another place to stop, and enjoy the magnificent views/vistas/mountains one finds all throughout Colorado. Nature certainly put some overtime into this state. Looking at the range of the 14s you can only imagine the scenes when the pioneers traveled. If you love nature, this is for you.

We took the Collegiate Peaks Scenic Byway route on our way into Colorado via New Mexico and stopped here to take a look at the peaks. We had originally thought we would hike around a little bit to stretch our legs, but when we arrived...More

Easy to get to, take a few minutes to soak in the beauty of the Collegiate Peaks. Some of Colorado ' s highest peaks are on the section of the Sawatch Range. I wish I could see the peaks in all four seasons.
