The Chapel at the United States Air Force Academy is one of a kind. It's beautiful from the outside and magnificent from the inside. If you get a chance to hear the organ within, you'll be swept away by the sound. Before entering the grounds, you will need to gain access to the Academy by the North gate. Be sure... More

The United Air Force Academy in beautiful Colorado Springs would make any American proud! It is located at the base of the beautiful Rocky Mountains and all the facilities are pristine, clean and a joy to tour. Probably the most famous is the chapel, which is a must see. The architecture is amazing! Lots of easy hiking trails and many... More

This campus was absolutely beautiful. We walked around and were able to see not only a wonderful campus but also beautiful scenery. My favorite was the chapel. It is breathtaking.

The youngest of the United States Service Academies. Built in 1959 it is a jewel against the foothills of the Rampart Range. The most famous tourist attraction is the Air Force Academy Chapel. Home to all major religions it is a beacon of Religious Freedom. Cadets upon graduation serve as 2nd Lieutenants in the US Air Force. Be sure to... More

If you're in Colorado Springs of ANY reason you must spend at least a mere hour seeing the beauty of our local Academy. There are only 4 in the nation, so don't miss this opportunity of driving through the campus that is situated around the natural wonders of mountains, hills, valleys, trees, herds of elk and soaring birds of prey.... Very impressive place! I have several friends who went to school here and I am happy I got to visit. An insider visit as well since I know an instructor who teaches here. Visitor center is very clean and informative. A good taste of what is inside. That chapel is really cool to see as well! If you are in... More

We came to the Air Force Academy Fieldhouse for a Track meet, and really appreciated our time here, and visiting this wonderful facility and campus in a Most Wonderful Setting. It is a must see if in the area. Very inspiring and uplifting place to visit!

The film in the visitor center is inspiring, and walking the campus from there just makes me increasingly proud of the men and women who train to serve our nation.

The cadet chapel is amazing. A must see. We travelled there on a wintry, snowy cold day, but it was worth it. Joan the docent was so knowledgeable. If you are lucky, you will see cadets marching. Not a place to visit quickly. Lots of plaques to read and jets to look at.
