We had a great time feeding the giraffe's. They get right up to your hand. Purchase of lettuce was $3, totally worth it. Tried deep fried Oreo's for the first time, and had funnel cakes. Some parts have a road going through the zoo to...More

This zoo is on the side of a mountain, a truly unique location. Be prepared to hike at altitude. It is known for its giraffe breeding program. During the summer, peacocks wander the grounds. It's a terrific little zoo!

This zoo is amazing. I love that you let people feed any giraffe and that there were other animals loose and not in cages. It was the best zoo I've ever seen.

This is a HAPPY zoo. The views are spectacular, the exhibits are top notch and the animals are beautiful, friendly, and seem very well treated. The altitude is quite high, and the walkways are hilly, so be prepared with lots of water and comfy shoes.

Small but nice also visit Shrine of the Sun. Try to look up times to feed the giraffe. Not super big we did it in 2-3 hours.

I would highly recommend strollers or wagons if you are taking small children, lots of uphill walking here!! It was ok, but nothing spectacular in my opinion, kids were bored most of the time there.
