This destination to spend the night was a surprise to for wife on Valentine’s Day when we took a trip to Colorado Springs while seemingly driving around just looking at the sights. Glen Eyrie was built by General William Palmer. His first house built in...More

I attended the tour and ready with my two teenage granddaughters. The tour was a great disappointment. The group was too large and the volunteer guide talked mostly about himself and the Billy Graham's connection. He couldn't answer the most basic history question. The castle...More

It is well worth the drive to visit Glen Eyrie, where you go back in time and dream about what it was like to live in a castle 150 years ago. The grounds are meticulously kept, and the setting is idyllic. Make sure you also...More

The web site does not tell you that this is more like a retreat house than a hotel. I purchased a night here for my daughter and son-in-law's 10th wedding anniversary, hoping to give them a romantic night. They were put-off by all the "religious"...More

Well maintained historical property. They host many types of events throughout the year. Go online and check them out. During Christmas Season the decorations are great.

Great place to stay. We had a room in the castle for our anniversary. We hiked both days. Glen Eyrie is one of God’s special places. Absolutely beautiful scenery. Memorable weekend. Highly recommend it.

I would say that it is handicapped accessable but probably not super friendly. it is an old building, narrower hallways, cobble stones and hills.
