I've forgotten who built this home, but if memory serves me correctly it was constructed in 1873 and is still standing and being used. The walls are extremely thick. Visitors to Colorado Springs certainly should include it in their travel plans, because if you do...More

A classic Victorian is immortalized in the oldest house still standing in Colorado Springs. Tours are interesting and teas (Christmas, Valentine's, Mother's Day) are worth getting reservations for. They also hold a family friendly ice cream social.

It was a nice tour, the house is full of antiques and the guide was very thorough in explaining everything but it wasn't worth the $5 I paid.

General McAllister built this house in1873 for his family. It is the oldest brick house in Colorado Springs and has some interesting features which the tour makes you aware and about the McAllister family history.

It was closed when we stopped by. There is a Geocache in the tree in the yard so all was not lost. Easy street parking or a lot in the back. Interesting area.
