a good long drive and we went on some trails, we were driving a suburban so not all the park roads were advisable, next time we will drive a smaller 4 wheel drive

Easy to get to and even though it was technically closed for the winter, it was easy to get around and find trails. There are port a potties by the Helen hunt falls, plenty of parking, nice roads etc. we loved the views and peaceful hiking!!

We hike here all the time. There are easy trails to long day hikes. All are beautiful. The Discovery Center is interesting and the staff are very nice. Hummingbird feeders in season are fun! Mountain bking at the top (Gold Pass) is great. Go early during summer as parking areas fill up fast.

Beautiful, well kept park with amazing trails for all skill levels. Gorgeous views and plenty of perfect picnic spots. It will be a shame to see the Broadmoor take away the strawberry fields openspace. It's truly unbelievable that this gem was sold off to make room for a golf course. At least there are still many, MANY beautiful trails that... More

Amazingly-beautiful rugged mountain peaks, sheer cliffs. Only problem: a forest fire ravaged the area and you'll see that timber. Plenty of places to hike. Maybe the BEST mountain scenery in the area although I also loved Seven Falls. Everybody knows about Garden of the Gods. North Cheyenne is less well known but more jaw-dropping to enter an gawk.

Came up here to hike and geocache. The drive through the canyon is gorgeous, with lots of pullouts & trailheads. Be aware that the road is steep in places. The end of the road has a huge parking lot that was nearly full in the morning (in November!), but less busy by noon. There were NO restrooms at this trailhead,... More

Beautiful water falls, and I've heard the hike is great (not a hiker myself, so you can't get my opinion on that part). Even the frozen falls are cool.

Very nice park. Lots of trails. Lots of waterfalls. Lots of picnic areas. Lots of photo opportunities. But, restroom facilities are not always easy to come by.
