Cute zoo
Jun 2021 • Family
This place is a great find. Situated in a lovely park this small zoo is very cute. It's currently running timed 45min slots due to covid and allows in restricted numbers which was perfect for our 2 year old. It meant it wasn't busy and she could see the animals there. Thank you we will be back.

Exceptional service

I recently had the pleasure in visiting Cedars Nature Centre and I am giving them a 5 star review.Having approached the team in relation to a article I was writing I was invited down to the nature centre for a look around. On arrival I was greeted by Ranger Stuart before being introduced to the rest of them. The Customer service Stuart,Nick and the team provide is exceptional with the care and attention given to your experience above and beyond what I expected, the passion they have for the job that they are doing really come across during your experience and you can see that each and everyone of the team takes pride in there appearance and the animals benefit from this polite and friendly workforce.

On our bucket list

Can't wait to see this little quirky tucked away place! Just saw its co-director Nick Spellman on Al Jazeera english news narrating the effect the lockdown has done on their place :-(

Am sure once life is back to normal people will throng for such day outings. Just be patient and postive all you team there. We will be coming soon!

Cedars Park Animal Centre

Small but very friendly zoo located in historic Cedars Park Cheshunt, 5 minutes off the M25 (J25). Given a tour by the propriator who also gives regular talks on the animals , their care and preservation etc to visitors . Got to handle a Chinchilla, but declined to handle a tarantula.
Park Cafe, Toilets etc close by
Its not a Safari Park and you wont see any Elephant or Tigers but well worth a visit particularly with a young family.

Very enjoyable visit and nice staff

Only open a year or two apparently, this is a lovely little place with a smallish but interesting collection of animals. Regular 'meet the animal' sessions at times during the day. Our little granddaughter loved the meerkats and the rabbits, enjoyed the budgies and other birds and even stroked a skunk! Saw field mice, brightly coloured beetles, an armadillo, snakes, etc. Hand washing facilities provided plus a nice little shop and you can re-enter as many times as you wish during the same day. Free parking in the park and a nice cafe adjacent. A little limited but enough to amuse small children for a while and interesting for adults too. We will definitely visit again.

Visited with the family today and had a wonderful time. Set in a lovely park it was a few hours well spent. £5 per child for a 30 min nomad encounter where the children can meet some of the animals...absolutely wonderful.

Very friendly stafftoo

Interesting place

This place has newly opened, and if you think you are just going to find an enterance just there, You won't. It is located in Cedars Park, and on the map, just look for the pets corner.
