Even though I live in Cedaredge, I love coming down to the Fort, It is time period correct and just a awesome place to stop, It is a working Fort where they have live demonstrations.

This is a cool historical spot to check out but is not open all the time so you have to check when its open! Fun to learn history whether you are traveling through our a local! In the Confluence Park area so lots to do!

Stopped here after camping at Ridgeway State Park on way to Glenwood Springs. Locked fence with a sign saying pre-arranged group tours only. Small placard with basic info you can find on the internet.
