I've been a Denver resident for 30+ years and have entusiastically witnessed the exciting renovation of Lower Downtown or LoDo into a vibrant, exciting community for residents and visitors alike. Anchored by Coors Field, home of the MLB Colorado Rockies, LoDo is home to residences, hotels, restaurants and businesses. For a visit or a lifestyle, LoDo is one of Denver's... More

A very quick way to view the dynamic growth of the city. It is easy to walk the area in an hour or so and see food and retail that is ready for your experience. Probably not the most interesting thing to children.

We started at Union Station then walked down 16th Street Mall. There is a large variety of restaurants and pubs; something for everyone. We didn't see many shopping opportunities but found a couple of things nonetheless. There is a bus you can easily hop on to ride back to Union Station if you get tired of walking. A nice way... Okay people, heres the skinny on LoDo. I grew up in Colorado and LoDo used to be the industrial/warehouse section of Denver. Back in the day unless you worked or delivered into those area's, you didnt travel that way, you stayed by the Tivoli or 16th street mall. The area is nice and there are great places to eat, bars,... This neighborhood is a fun place to walk around. Lots of places to eat and drink. There are bars to hang out. Grab a coffee and talk a walk.

LODO is an area of downtown Denver that is now a neighborhood with upscale lofts and lots of restaurants and shops. We have friends living here and visit often. Lots to enjoy.

We loved every part of LoDo. We could walk just about everywhere. There's a ton of food options, and great shopping. You have to visit if you're in the Denver area.

LODO- Lower Downtown is the definition of hip, fun and historic. The lower downtown is a 6sq block radius and is popular with upscale restaurants, boutique stores, nightlife, bars and craft breweries. The area has a real warehouse industrial style to it. With large brick warehouses this neighbourhood thrives on the craft beweries that Denver is becoming famous for. The... More

But plagued by poor signage, poor signage to get from Light Rail to Union Station, poor information as to the attractions in the immediate area, horrible parking as in non-available if you drive. Great historical features, but something needs to be done to make the area friendlier.
